"Praha matka měst" is the city of a hundred spires!! The historic city centre is a UNESCO world heritage site! And it is truly gorgeous and deserves the title! During Aril 7-13 Miriam, Merissa, and myself explored this wonderful historic city!
Hehe, the first leg of our trip. Our zero changes night trian DID make serveral changes and here we are enjoying bread and meat and laughing over the antics of the guys in the cabin next to ours. Haha, they ended up also staying at the Old Prague hostel as well. Lol, we eventually talked with them and discovered they weere from the Bernese Oberland region of Switzerland.

On Charles Bridge looking up at the Prague Castle Complex! The Cathedral is within the Castle!
Famous statue of a man that was thrown over the bridge to his death below. Millions of people run the statue! On the right with the picture of the woman it is said that rubbing will bring you back to Prague on day and on the left rubbing the statue of the dog will bring you financial happiness. However the trick is to rub them at seperate times. If one runs them at the same time then niether will come true. ;-)

Astronomical Clock! There is a show every hour for two mintues in which the Jesus' apostles come out of the windows and the skeleton rings the bell!
I love this phot. ;-) We were at the paddle boat rental which was so much fun and relazing! We ate lunch and then enjoyed the sun and gorgeous perfect weather!

Okay so (above) this was incredibly weird and rather gross! Anyways, apparently there are a lot of pickpocketers in Orague, we never had problems, and honestly this city seems so much safer than places like Italy. Anyways, we saw a few beggers in the tourist areas, but this guy takes the cake with his dogs and kissing his pet rat.

Love these gardens! We had so much fun being goofy and taking pictures! Lol, I love hanging with Miriam because she shares my love of snapping MANY crazy photos all the time! ;-) There are several gardens throughout Prague, but these were free and quite lovely with the special dripstone wall and birds and peacocks throughout!

HAHAHA! So I ran over at one point and decided to lay down in the grass and Mirm got the idea we showed write "love" with our bodies. She made the "l" and this is my attempt at an "o" before a czeck woman came up to us and started chastizing us in czeck not to be on the grass. Oopsies, lol. ;-)

Miriam and the dripstone wall! Absolutely amazing! It was made to create an illusionary reality. If one gazes at the wall long enough hidden faces, gargoyles, and mystical creatures pop out to the gazer. Also are secret passages and bits of hidden stairs visable. Really cool! Loved this!

The Easter markets!
I love this shot with the church and the easter market tree! A funny story behind this . . . haha . . . an hour after I took this shot we decided we would check out the inside of this church. Well, once we found the entrance and wandered inside we walked up to the gate and Miriam walked past the man who mumbled something to us and of course I followed her. ;-) Anyways we quickly realized people were doing weird stuff and not really walking around looking at stuff and the man came up to us and made us sit in a pew and guess what!?! People started sitting down and before we knew it, monks were lighting candles and Gregorian chants were happening and we had to copy all the gestures of the people around us! We were STUCK in a mass!!! Lol, we somehow managed to sneak out, but we definitely experienced a Czeck mass first hand haha, and it was amusing. ;-)
So Absinthe is illegal in most countries, but in Czeck Republic it is EVERYWHERE! And here we tried flaming shots.

Katherine, Sarah (the gals we met in our room) and myself went out to get night shots and while we were on the Charles Bride I decided to lean over the brige to get some good shots. Well, little did I know that my skirt had a mind of its own. . . As I was leaning, the wind caught it and literally my skirt was lying flat backwards against my back, HAHA! Thankfully it was night time but I still managed to flash some tourists, and english ones nonetheless, oh my. So the gals wanted to snap the moment for future memories and here is a bit of proff! :-P

I was so thrilled to be here!! The story behind this is that when Mozart wrote his Opera, Don Giovanni, it was first shown here in the Estates theatre in Prague, which he himself conducted!!! AHH! It was so thrilling to be there! We had FANTASTIC seats too, in a box, up front!

Lol, we were dying of laughter over Binds, christmas trees with lights, and counting to 20 in espanol! haha . . . amazing how with limited knowledge of other languages, one can still enjoy a good time. ;-)

These gals were amazing! We met Sarah and Katherine in our mixed dorm room and had so much fun with them! They are studying french in a town north of Paris and Sarah will be moving to Geneva this summer so I am looking forward to seeing her again before I head home!
They took us to a famous cafe in Prague, Cafe Lourve, in which famous intellectuals, like Einstein would meet other intellectuals of the day to discuss ideas and theories! We had some lovely dessert here!

Merissa and Miriam had left on their train to Vienna and I still had a few hours before I had to catch my train to Zurich! So, the gals and I walked around a bit and then decided to sit in the Easter markets/Old town square. While we were sitting and chatting this gent comes up and says hello. We stare at each other for a moment and then I said hello and we get to talking and apparently his cover by day is the Hard Rock Cafe and by night he fights the powers of darness in Prague (he is a tour guide for the ghost tours) Lol! Anyways, we took us to the cafe and we got free drinks and bought some divine Nachos. I really miss Mexican. :-( My drink was a Southern Rock, which was YUMMY!

That's all folks! I said goodbye to the gals and hopped on my train, which instead of being a train without changes somehow managed to have several changes. ah, how I am used to Swiss efficiency! Anyways, after changing buses and trains and finally getting to Zurich and Uster by 7am I was exhausted, looking aweful and in desperate need of a divine shower! After which I slept wonderfully for a few hours!!!

The Rock Mand of Zurich! This guy is amazing! We builds these rock gardens and it is just mesmerizing to watch him. One can find him on route to the China Gardens walking from Bellevue Tram stop any day the weather is fine! And he always plays awesome music too. ;-)
