Hehe, painting bear cub prints on the injun!

Becky and me on the train to Luzern for this fabulous event!

Nicole and Rachel dancing on the train. Some musicians came onto the train and played for us! It was lovely!!!!

Getting my hand painted! I am a happy camper!

Hehe, Luzern Bahnhof!

Sorry, lol, I don't care how cheap beer is, if it isn't a Strongbow or an Eve, I don't like it. ;-)

We be sehr cute!! :-P

Loved throwing confetti everywhere!! Lol, the mess was a dream come true, ahah!

Spittle anyone?!?! hehe . . .

Naughty!!!! Only Mandy could read it fast enough to translate it for us. Lol . . .

Traditionally oranges were thrown out to the crowds. Even so there wasn't much candy at all . . . definitely not like North American parades. Hehe, you can see the kids reaching for the oranges! It was also hilarious, because the marching bands had holders on their instruments to hold their German beers and at one point this Swiss woman and myself shared a moment laughing together over a certain parade participate stumbling down the crowds . . . :-D

HIGHLANDERS!!!!

Hehe . . . rachel was grabbed by these guys dressed up as hags and dragged for a ways through the parade, haha, t'was hilarious!

This float cracked me up! All these monks were drinking beer.

NAUGHTY!!!

Rach's face is classic!!!

This was awesome!!!

The old bridge in Luzern

I love Swiss efficiency!!! The parade was barely over and people were already out attacking the mess!

Haha, we passed this indian and I jumped up to him to get him in a pic with Rachel and Nicole. Haha. He then proceeded to ask us f we were over 18 and to have a drink with him, but we had a date with a Lion. ;-)

This is the famous Lion Statue in Luzern in memory of the Swiss guard that died "protecting" the King during the French Revolution. Mark Twain, said this was the most moving piece of rock in the world, lol, and it truly does look like it is in pain.

While we were checking out the lion, there were some Japanese tourists who took turn taking pictures with us and practising on Nicole's bow! It was great!

Hehehe . . .

Hehe, Japanese men fighting over the bow and arrow, lol . . .

This was an amazing trip and so cool to experience Fasnacht/Carnival! Apparently the best place to go for Carnival is Venice, Italy, but for Switzerland, Luzern is definitely the place. :-D
